Starting off the week as soon as names were introduced a giant game of Uno commenced. The game ended with a collective groan of 30 plus girls as the winner laid down her last card.         

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun played out the first morning on the fourth floor as soon-to-be mayor Calah made her rounds to wake everyone up. The City of Coolidge lived up to the lyrics and had lots of  fun. From Uno to karaoke, Floor Four showed those above and below why they were the best. 

       A competitive atmosphere waved across the dorms as multiple people ran and won the primaries for the City, County, and State elections. Not only were whole-building elections electric, the City ones were also as cowbells rang loudly in the halls and cheesy slogans worked their punny magic. The most memorable slogans included “Calah for Mayah” and “If You Can’t Remember Steinke, Remember Stinky.” Even within the first few hours, glitter and glue dripped down freshly made campaign signs. 

      Bringing the floor together, they bonded over their love of karaoke with Senior Counselor Vickie’s boombox. Floor Four’s red, white, and blue theme made sure every corner you turned, you knew which floor you were on. The highlight of the week for some was the group talent show performance and getting to practice/work with others that they would never get to otherwise.
