The following is a list of items you will need to bring to Girls State. This list is not intended to specify the only things to bring, but it is a list of the items you will need.

DO NOT BRING VALUABLES SUCH AS JEWELRY OR COMPUTERS AS GIRLS STATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

Samsung Scholarship (if applying)
All information sent to you from Girls State
Blanket or sleeping bag (sheets and pillow are provided)
Towels
Plastic drinking cup
All toiletries and personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.)
Shower caddy
Camera (film if needed) and extra batteries
Alarm clock
Notebook paper, pens, pencils, highlighters
Campaign materials (see Campaigning for more information)
Band instrument (large instruments such as drums and tubas provided)
Clothing for the week (see Dress Code)
Raincoat or light jacket
Umbrella
$20 for Girls State Pictures
